going to buy headers
going to buy headers im going to be getting headers and im not going to pay $500+ for Kooks, SLP, or QTP just because I am not rich and dont want to pay that much for headers, when i think that as far as performance goes, Pacesetter, and Flowtech are pretty much just as good. But i was trying to decide between Coated and non Coated, i mean everyone says that the coated ones will rust too, so what's the point in spending the extra $$ on them??
I was thinking about doing this, so tell me if you guys think it will work. I have a Red Trans Am. I was thinking about having the headers gloss red to match the exterior of the car, all of my suspension components are powdercoated red and i was thinking of matching the headers to it. is there paint that i can buy to do this. i DO NOT want them to rust from the inside out or outside in, and i dont want to hurt performance. I only drive the car maybe 35-40 miles on the weekend, just out crusing, and i never drive in the winter or rain or snow. so that should help with them not rusting right?? I want the finish on them to stay in tact over time.
Have any of you guys heard of people doing this, what do you guys think??

the heat cycle is what "rusts" headers.I have seen any coatings home applied to stand up more than a month,the ceramic coated headers will out live a uncoated header two to one the hundred bucks is well worth it
