victor series headers

anyone try the edelbrock victor series headers? They sound good 13/4" stepped to 17/8" with 31/2" collectors anyone have them?

I remember someone doing an install on them when they first came out, try searching. Although that may have been on ls1.com before it bit the bullet. From what I remember is that they were relatively easy to install (from beneath) and that the coating (ti) was pretty bad ***, as far as coatings go.

They are freakin awesome. Once my manifolds were out it took me about 15-20 min to heave BOTH headers in and started! Awesome power and sound as well! Just look at the facts-they are equal length stepped headers w/ a merge collector.

I've wondered how these headers would work on a mildly cammed stock shortblock. Does anyone think that the tubes size may be a little overkill for such an application?

They are just painted, not coated. I never did coat mine and so now they look ugly but if I were keeping mine I would just have them coated. BTW mine are for sale. I have a place near by that could coat them if interested. Looking for $325 shipped, $400 w/Y pipe, or $600 coated.
