one idea with the wiring might be some aluminum tubing with a slit cut down one side. run the wiring in it and just have the coil connectors stick out. might get too hot, IDK. i have my coils already relocated with the TR kit, so its not an issue with me, but might be soemthing to look at for yall. these look promising. i would like a set smooth, w/o coil mounts, and w/ pcv. an anodising option might be nice also. jsut so you don't get in over your head with tons of styles and options, id make at most 4. a smooth and a fluted w/ all on and a smooth and fluted with nothing on.

Wow, those look nice! Personally I'd prefer non-fluted and I'd like to have coil pack brackets. I think the fluted style will be a great place to build up an oily smudge and be hard to clean. I had the 98 valvecovers without brackets and it was a pain when I wanted access to the plugs or header bolts. I have the newer style covers with brackets and it makes my life so much easier. I only use two bolts to hold the bracket down, so removal is a snap. I think it would be great if you made a nice looking bracket in anodized aluminum or something.

Make them tall enough to clear all of the aftermarket rocker arms. There are very few valvecovers available that do this.

Perhaps relocate the coil packs on the lower side of the valvecovers, instead of the top of them. Maybe have a nice bracket to hold them on the side?

I like the smooth ones that I've seen other companies sell. Those fluted ones would be popular with the Street Rodder crowd though. I wish someone would make an inexpensive set of cast aluminum covers for us though, for those more interested in the performance over the bling.

That is the key to this.

Like tony said.. if you could mount the coils on the outer sides of the valve covers that would keep the topside clean looking and you could run even shorter plug wires

Very nice.. my LS2 might like a set.. :woot:

They look great but I would leave the ball milled groves off. Way too mid 90's street rod. That whole trend of ball milled billet parts is about as popular as 16's wheels in a rod built in the same era. The trend is all but dead.

one thing possible with the coils is to have them raised up a bit with only 2 bolts holding the bracket, one on each end. the plug wires could maybe even go under the bracket(with heat insulation). that along with my idea of running the wiring in a tube might really clean it up. it would also make removal of the coil packs easy

I'd be interested in a smooth non-fluted set.

Awesome! I'm in when they become available. Individual CP for my '98. Not a lot of valve cover choices right now and absurdly expensive.

Hi guys,
I've made some smooth tops to show you what they look like. I also made some tall ones (2.5" compared to 1.5" standard).

1 1/2" smooth top, and separate coil mounting has my vote.
