Default intake temp sensor??

I just picked up a used lid, is it worth it to try and reuse my intake temp sensor? My car only has 41K and The one on the "new" lid looks a bit worn. If so how would i go about getting the rubber grommet loose w/o damaging the sensor.

You can use your sensor - the sensor and grommet come out easier with a couple drops of liquid dishwashing soap - rinse and dry thoroughly before using.
