Question on Battery Relocation

Posted this in the Drag Racing Forum also:

I have done my searches and all questions answered except not 100% sure
on one thing. What do I do with the existing OEM ground cables that hooked into the original battery? Are they now a dead end connection that I just leave hanging or do they connect to anything? Should I drill a hole in the fenderwell and connect them to the metal?

I ran into the same thing. The harness that runs across the front actually runs to the starter as well. I wanted to pull it and just run to the block on the drivers side, but after looking didnt want to mess up the sterter. I just tucked it away and tied it back so it wasnt it the way and played it safe.
