Odd MAF question. . .

Odd MAF question. . . I went to cleaning my engine today and went so far as to remove the SLP airbox cover off of my car. I've had the car just over a month and don't know the specifics on engine work done on it . . . .yet!
When I pulled the airbox cover off I just kept cleaning and cleaning. . .
I did not damage the MAF, but looking at it I saw etched into the side of it:
"Z06 88 V +5%"
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I measured the thing at 3.5" across.
