idling at 300 - O2 sensors problem?
ideling problem? I went to start my car today. It started up but the rpms were at like 300. I had to give it gas so it wouldnt idle so low. After it warmed up it was okay. Also when I turned the air on it did the same thing. Any ideas on what could be causing this. Someone told me my O2 sensors were going bad. Is this true????????????

I have an 01 Z, and a week after I bought it, It started Ideling real funny, it dropped to around 300RPMs, and I had to keep on the trottle to keep it from cutting off. Well it turns out I had a hose leak for some kind air vaccume, not exactlly sure what it was even for. I got a new hose and replaced it, and it still wasn't running right. So dumb me took it to the dealer, and they had to reset my computer because the hole in the hose threw a code. Well I got my car back and the sun's a gun's put a 115 MPH governor on it, I never said anything about it though because my mom would kill me if she knew her 16 year old was going ove 71 MPH on the Interstate. Oh well, the hose is in front of the intake, and listen close for a leak.
