Thermostat Question. Alright, I know I have to get my car tuned to change the temps of the thermostat, but i was wondering if it's alright ot install it right now. I know it won't open at 160 right now, but when I get it tuned it will, is it okay to drive it with the comp thinking it's a stock thermostat untill I get it tuned?

actually the thermostat is heat controled by the water temp in the engine. the tune will set you fans to work with the new piece.
As for driving the car with the new stat before tuning the fans, that's no problem, won't hurt anything.... just won't see much change in running temps till the fan settings are changed.
