ruining O2 sensors
ruining O2 sensors I just installed my pacesetter Long tubes and placed bosch corvette rear O2 corvette rear sensors.
I have to drive to mienake to have them install my Y-pipe but I have heard that driving with open headers will ruin O2 sensors.
I just spent like 150 on these, do i have to worry about them or should I take them out before I go to Mienake?

Iam almost positive the answer is no, only when the car is on will it have an effect on them. If you still have the stocker I would just throw them on, cause I would not risk wasting a 150 bucks.
i drove around for two weeks open headers and had no problems with the o2 sensors. of course mine werent new, they were stock ones hacked up with extensions, i still havent switched them out though and its been over a month.
