Default True duals installed...(still need some help)

I finally got true duals installed on my TA. Pics may follow if I don't rip it off out of frustration.
Its basis is a summit 2.5" X-pipe kit, and some extra piping, plus some cutting/welding/yelling, and 2 summit 2.5" 18" long resonators

Let's start with the positives -
I felt a definite SOTP gain over the stock...also over running open Y.
Sounds like a 5.0 Fox
Wasn't incredibly expensive (I actually am still running stock everything, including O2 sensors - simply cut the Y after the O2's.

Now for the negatives...
Super sweet exhaust leak after one of the cats, at the very TOP (near impossible, well...impossible to hit with the mig welder), causing a tick tick tick for the time being.
To help hang it we had to use bolt holes from the tunnel brace (still has rubber hanging material, but it vibrates somethin' fierce).
97% ground clearance. What's the problem? The other 3 percent of that is getting into and out of my driveway

For now I'm going to drive it, and just grin and bear the driveway scrapeage...or until it falls off. I'm thinking of modifying it. I looked at LS1 sounds.com, and one of the true dual setups looks like it actually puts BOTH pipes inside the tunnel. I couldn't tell how close the to driveshaft it got, but it's definitely an idea for the future.

True duals guys...can you post some of your pictures, I want to see where I can improve. thanks!

look at the pics in my sig. I made a braket and welded it to the x, bolted it to the stock heat shield holes but drilled them out to accept a larger bolt. as for the hole, if you cant band clamp it which i wouldnt suggest i would pull it off and weld it. My car doesnt shake much sint it is pretty damn tight on the car...the bracket stabilized it alot compared to the true duals that i had on there first.

If you do a search you will find pics of plenty of td setups with the muffs in the tunnel. Its a bummer but you need to take it off and redo it and then you can fix the leak too. I put them near the drive shaft about 1/4 inch from the floor and hung them from the bolts you can see above that are behind the seats. It did require taking the seats out and pulling the carpet back to access. It really is not that bad of clearance if done carefully, mine have never bottomed out even once.
