How much does the LS1 weigh?

How much does the LS1 weigh? To the Mods, if this is in the wrong forum please move it, thanks
Anyone know how much the LS1 engine weighs? As either fully dressed or stripped. I've done a few searches around the net, but have not found what I'm after.

I actually pulled off at a weigh station on a road trip one day, and with 2 bags full of clothes and 2 people in the car it weighed 3679. Without it I have no idea, but that was a good 350 pounds including me. so I would say around 3400. I have removed backseat and AC/compressor/ and have light carpet too and a few other weight mods.

But I meant the engine not the car.
