Default Kooks Headers, power question ?

While this isnt a result or comparison yet, hopefully it will be soon.
I am thinking of going the route of KOOKS headers, there Y-pipe and CATS.
I currently have the SLP Y-pipe, and SLP Loudmouth.... On a Dyno test, I pulled 325 to the rear wheels.
I also have SLP bellows, SLP CAI, Holley Air filter, SLP MAF... ok anyway, once I get the headers..... what will be needed, do I need to get the car programmed or dyno tuned afterwards ???

And if I am pulling 325 right now, what do you guys think ballpark, I would be pulling to the wheels with this new setup.... Im just curious....
I see some of you say you gained 16hop by just re-programming the car...etc.

Thanks everyone...

Wait a second, before a dyno tunes you only got 15rwhp ??? and 17 after the tune... I was under the impression you would gain alot more than that, even before the tune, am I wrong in thinking this... I keep hearing people say there getting like 30-44 hp gains.... ??? And I think it was before a tune......
Maybe it was after, hhmmmmmmm

Well, the only thing I can tell you is that I recieved my kooks headers yesterday and they look awesome. I got myself the 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 w/out emissions and catted y-pipe. I also purchased the hooker cat back which everyone here seems to say is one of the best sounding catback systems for headers. Can't wait to install!!! The only thing I can say is that I have heard that you get more or less 30-35 horses with this set-up..

Yeah but I hear they are like the cream of the crop, If I do this, I want to do it right..... or so they say... then again, leave it all to marketing.....
I will still look at others just in case.

I am getting the headers for $770, Kooks Y-pipe and magna cats for $500 and install for like $400.. so it adds up.

One other question, will I need to upgrade the clutch or drive shaft, becuase of the power.. dont want to snap anything ??

Always a chance of your clutch / rearend going out anytime you add any power. There are plenty of posts like 'How long did your rear end last, how long did your stock clutch last'

Im sitting around 400 rwhp and have stock clutch and rearend. But not everybody is that lucky. I know alot of guys have their clutch / rearend go around 360 hp w/ sticky tires.

Your driveshaft will be fine however.
