those who say the single chambers arent restrictive have probably never seen the inside of any of the flowmaster mufflers in person

this is the inside of a single chamber

even with a center in center out option it still isnt gonna flow great.

this is the one i have

the small case eliminated the first chamber in this pic and it is also center in center out, so you can see the differences between the two are minimal. i have it despite the power loss because it sounds amazing and it only takes 30 seconds to uncap the cutouts

stay with straight though designs from dynomax and magnaflow

The single chambers aren't restrictive and if I remember correctly flow about twice as much as the 80 series do.

There is such a thing as over exhausting a car/truck. Many people run pipes way larger and mufflers too un restricted for maxium power through the entire RPM range. Peak numbers don't mean

Off topic here....Is your car wrong side drive?? If so, I would like to see pics.

Larry

About, the flowmaster. They're not bad mufflers. If you compare them to a straight through design "glass pack" or "bullet" they'll loose out but they are also two different types of mufflers. If you compare them to other "turbo" mufflers made by the people that make the straight through type mufflers they'll fair well. Kinda apples and oranges.

Yes it is wrong hand drive. It's got the steering wheel on the left, lol

All Euro-spec Camro's and Corvettes where all Left hookers. The only changes I know of are the rear bumper design, side repeaters and side light bulbs in the headlights.

Also the exhaust is different, as they are only rated at 288bhp, but apparently they have a more agressive tune to compensate. I don't know if the suspension is the same or not, but if anyone knows I be keen to read it.

When the Z28 was tested here it recorded almost identical 0-60mph and 0-100mph times as the C5 Corvette, which was still rated at the same 345bhp. So it makes you wonder whether the claim of 288bhp is a little understated.

We did get the Cadillac STS Seville and the Chevy Blazer, these where available in RHD.

I had a flowmaster 80 series on my car and it slowed it down and made my car quiet.
