Default Dent in Header Primary....Any adverse effects?

I recently had my clutch replaced, and the shop somehow managed to dent one of my header primarys. Other than looking like crap will this dent have any negetive effect on performace? Thanks!

You will probably lose a little flow there but I dont think that it is anything to lode sleep over. How did they mash a primary replacing a clutch?

They are long-tube headers, thus wrap around the bell housing and need to be either swung out of the way or removed to get to the clutch. I figured it got dented durning this procedure.

Slp's?

I guess they could have been more careful, but oh well, I guess a new clutch with a dented primary is better than a bad clutch and an undented primary.

I'd take it back to the shop and ask questions, unless you got one killer deal.. would you care if someone dented your front fender while replacing a headlight?

i agree i worked at a dealership and if i had dented the headers on someones car and noticed it i would have brought it to there attention befor getting assreemed by a pissed customer, if they didnt notice it thats one thing. But either way they be fixxin the problem.

I do have to say tho, I hope you just brought your car home recently, if it's been longer than a day or two they will probably pull some BS about how you did it or it was fine when it left the shop. If they admit to it and fix it then I'd probably return to that shop again in the future!
