price to delete EGR code?
how much would it cost to delete egr code? when i do my intake swap from an ls1 to ls6 i will need to have the code deleted that comes up and i will probably end up goin to a performance shop around, does anyone knw about how much it would cost for someone to delete the codes?

price to delete EGR code got quoted 50 bucks to have the code deleted, thought it was rather high and was wondering how hard would it be and how long would it take to have it done locally w/ someone that has ls1edit or something?
It is very hard to delete egr. You have to plug a cable into your diagnostic connector. Hey it sounds simple but those cables are a ****. Then to make matters worse you have to hit some buttons on the keyboard of your laptop as well as click the mouse pad a few times. Its a long job too, about 5 minutes to be exact.
I could see charging 10 bucks, 20 tops. Fifty is highway robbery.

That seems like a lot but......if you compare it to O2 sims ($90)........then you would still need someone to delete the EGR codes...it's not horrible.
I tried to get a Tuner from NC to delete my EGR stuff and rear O2's..... he wouldn't touch the PCM for less than $250. Needless to say, I now have HPTuners.
