can't figure out the problem

hey guys, here is my situation. i recently put ion a ls6 intake and ported tb on my car. when i started it it seems like it was running right, but when i went to the track, i lost a second in time. i checked for leaks around the intake and tb but found none. there is a code that says #7,8 are missing at idle, and when i was running down the track, the check engne light was flashing at me. have any of you ever had this problem? please help i am stumped

well since you said you installed a ls6 intake I would go back over that with a fine tooth comb!!

You should check #7 & #8 plug wires, injector wires/connectors, etc. The other possibility is an air leak in that area of the manifold.
