Default Torque question ...

Anyone know how tight to torque down the bolt on the drive belt idler pulley? (Not the tensioner pulley.) My Haynes manual doesn't give a torque spec for that bolt that I can find. (What a suprise.)

The bolt head says KXV and below that it says 9.8. I know the 9.8 is the bolt strength, and I've looked at various references on the web, but they all give different torque recommendations for a given bolt strenght, based on the material, and the diameter of the bolt, and the thread pitch. I don't trust myself to do that sort of calculation. I'll wind up breaking off the bolt. Any ideas?
