Options for reducing rasp

Options for reducing rasp I have stock manifolds, gutted cats and no muffler. I love how it sounds except for the rasp.
I know that swapping my cats for ones that aren't gutted will kill much of the rasp, but what are some other options? Maybe a bullet muffler? I don't want my car to be much quieter, I just want to cut down on the rasp.

I had a bullet in the I-pipe and my car had rasp, although it reduced it slightly.
I swapped the bullet for a Borla XR1 and almost all the rasp was gone with long tubes and an off road y-pipe.
