Default Headers or Cam

Im thinking of either of getting the MTI stealth II cam or a set of headers and catted Y(Kooks or QTP). the headers seem to cost most (around 1200 compared to around $800 for cam, pushrods, springs and gaskets) my only concern about the cam is finding a good shop to install it(no place for me to work on it) and the price of the installs. this is on a daily driver that drives alot on the highway of that helps.

Unless you're getting a Thunder Racing CheaTR cam (can be used with stock manifolds), you basically need headers before getting a cam. Gotta get that engine breathing first.

I would say headers first, but keep in mind that you must get it tuned, or a PCM that is tuned for that type of setup to see some good gains.
If you can, wait till you have enough money to get both headers and a cam, so you are only paying for the tuning once.

I had a cam for a few months without anything but stock manifolds and a butchered-*** loudmouth setup.

get the headers, you will like the sound and performance, and as others have said a cam with stock manifolds is almost usless, can't breath.

headers first, but the tune might not be needed right away, it all depends on your car and how it responds to the header install. will you benefit from getting a tune after lt's? yes, but you could possibly pocket that money and buy some more mods and wait till the cam install. thats what i am doing my car seemed to like the lt's.
