Pacesetters any good?
Went to coated pacesetters and have been totally pleased. The fit is great, the finish is still like new, and I drove this thing 500 miles a week for a year and a half. They look fine and were a deal. Call Jon or Jason @ TSP and take advantage of that deal.
of course...just my .02

After reading the sticky I had a question though..
I see people don't care for PaceSetters Y pipes, but TSP makes an excellent compatible Y.
So I'm going to purchase the Y from TSP. I just don't know what the differences are between the ORY and Catted-Y. From what I can tell, it's emmisions and price.
Does one give more horse power than the other? I want to be loud, but not TOO loud. I'm using a LoudMouth II catback exhaust. If using a catted-Y will make my car roar but not shake the interior loose, that's fine. I'm not looking to get 11's at the track.
Catted Y = Y pipe w/ cats.
I have never personally heard a Loud Mouth II. I had a regular loud mouth with stock everything and it was loud. Lt's will definately add to this. Cats will quiet a car down quite a bit but, after you start adding other mods, i.e. cam, etc, etc, they start getting loud.
Then again, loud is truely up to the driver (except in the case of police.) My car, w/ mods in my sig and a Hooker cat back was pretty much on the edge. I had a set of Lane's True Duals put on and it was VICIOUS !! I had to take them off or the city was gonna have heart failure. Now that my car is only for me again, I'm getting Lane to get me another TD setup....time to scare the locals and **** off my neighbors
