Does anyone know if LS1 headers will bolt up to my 5.3? It's an LSx motor, but just didn't know... Also, if anyone knows the measurements between the header bolts that may help too. Only asking because they don't make Long tubes for my truck yet...

If your talking about putting a bigger cubic inch LSx (4.8-6.0) motor in your truck.. yes, the headers for the 5.3 will work. The outside dimisions of the motors are the same.

I dont think they are the same tube layout. I would assume that 99-06 5.3 are the same. Only difference is egr or no egr.

LSx = 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 They all use the same block & head design.

If your trying to use a LS1 car header on a truck, then no, that will not work. Head flange is the same, but the bend of the tubes are different.

I agree.

Fitting a set of fbody headers to a truck would be like fitting a set of corvette headers to a fbody. It may work, but also may require much modification.
