Default Sleeper Z06

Ok its almost winter. I plan on beefing up the z06 but I want it to look/sound completely stock so I can mess with some 03+ cobras around here and make them think they're car is slow

I'm thinking 400rwhp will be a decent goal? Maybe 410-420? With a completely stock look, sound and driving other than an airbox.

Pulley (Painted black)
OMC, GT2-3, CheaTR? with 918s
Halltech Stinger (only visible mod)
Dyno tune (I have HP Tuners)
Ported TB

Any other ideas? Do you guys think this goal is acheivable?

you might want to look for more power if your going after cobras...i vote spray

have your manifolds ported, have your heads ported, do an MTI or CHEATer cam. just remove the cover from your air box (ziptie mod) and dont do the stinger. drop t stat, gut your cats and do a healthy tune. maybe some 4.10s or something

Gutting cats would violate the agreement, im not sure if the cheaTR cam sounds exactly like stock so I might go with the GT2-3
I cant find anyone around here willing to put the heads on for me for less than my first born child.
No nitrous, no way to hide it completely and I'm not wanting to beat all 03 Cobras just mess with some pulley/bolton ones. BTW I've already ran with a 2.8Pulley, catback/xpipe, cai cobra from 60-150 we were dead even 3x in a row. So I dont think I'll be hurting to bad with 50-60 more rwhp.

how would they know if you have N20? unless you pull over to the side of the road with them and open your hood, or told them, idk how they would find out. you could also buy a stealth kit and a 2lb bottle. go to the nitrous section and ask about hidden kits. a 125 shot with the proper safty systems like window switch ect would make your car a killer.

how about this a hidden 100 shot wet and zip tie mod and a pulley and some good tires and that should be good since u already weigh like 500 lbs lighter then the cobra if not more

a nitrous kit can be hidden extremely well. ive seen guys route the hose thru wire loom in the body panels then up thru the radiator shroud directly into the bottom of the intake bridge. u will never see that. solenoids would also be under the bridge. then put the bottle in one of the compartments in the trunk (u will need the covers like standard vette have) and put the switches in the ash tray or glove box. if u purge it into the motor instead of out in the open u wont tip anyone off.

All you have to do is run your hand on the bottom of the intake before the throttle body. No way to hide nitrous unless they dont look under your hood or they're stupid.
Stroker? Uhh no, has to idle and start like stock.

i dont think u understand what im trying to say.......trust me, even a seasoned veteran wouldnt see it unless the car was on a lift. even then u would need a couple hand tools to remove a couple shrouds to see anything.

SDC - if the cobra's wont play b/c you dont sound stock then forget the ones you're trying to beat. They just wanna pick on ppl smaller. I say put the bolt ons and a VERY healthy cam *like the g5x4* and scare em.

Full bolt-ons and a cam that idles like stock. You can get a custom grind from a sponsor.
Some port work on your heads would help too. You can also get some less expensive heads lke PRC's. They've head good results thus far.

You're talking about guys that are into 4.6... if they could even tell the difference between a 346 and a 383, they'd probably think it was just misfiring or something

they can't see a 4.10 they can't see ported heads and they won't hear a mti stealth 2 cam
