side exhaust question
side exhaust question has anyone had any experience or success with a side-exit exhaust system - something that exits in front of the rear wheels. i'm thinking of doing a custom (ie manufacturer by myself) setup, but would like to hear other's experiences before doing so.
that's what i figured. Clearance would probably be the biggest issue. Option 1 is to keep it pretty close to the underbody, and runa turndown at the end. Option 2 is a a mustang-style side exit. This'll probably be more expensive to do right, since it would involve fabbing some through-the-body work for an exit. I wanted to see if anyone out there successfully ran one without any clearance issues...
