I like the Borla catback at idol. It has a nice growl to it.

There's only two I've heard in person on an LS1 and that's the SLP LM and Magnaflow. SLP LM idles loud, but the Magnaflow is not as loud. I've heard a Borla on an LT1 and it sounds mean as hell.

I had a LM on my '95 TA and I loved it. Had a nice idle rumble and still sounded mean at WOT. I got a friend with a Borla on his '00 TA and it sounds good but is not as loud as the LM. I also liked the LM because it costs about a 1/3 of what a Borla or Corsa does. Don't get me wrong I've heard all of them and they all sound good but they all sound different and it's just according to what everyone likes. I also like the GMMG but the LM is probably my favorite for the money.

Default wich catback

I would go with the Borla, Superior quality, get the one w/ the interchangeable plates. I have this setup, but left the muffler off, put a strate pipe in place of the muffler and it sounds great, actually quiet at idle, but git on it and it sounds awesome. I pick up my Hooker long tubes and orypipe tonight, I'll let ya'll know what it sounds like, might need the muffler after that. Black 99z28m6

Borla with an ORY sounds like total ***. It doesn't even have tone anymore, just rasp like a chainsaw. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, just do a search, you'll see others feel the same way.

yup what LSUxBlake said borla sounds like *** with an ory, and especially when mated up to a set of long tube headers.
