are there any electronic gurus in the house?
ive seen people make there own RPM pills for a lesser price than buying the MSD ones.

i have the edelbrock carb conversion kit, and looking to make, or pay someone with experience to make me some timing pills.

the pills look just like the std rpm pills, but are labled "curve #1, curve #2....etc)

do i need to look for resistance, ohms, what?
im not the best when it comes to electronics, but i gotta do something.

the timing curves are too high, the lowest being in the mid 30's advance.
id like to get it down in the mid 20's to help with my nitrous system. its just too much timing in these pills and i am not seeing the gains i should.

i am in need of info on the new edelbrock triming pills for the carbureted kit for the lsx motors.

 

The Edelbrock unit is made by MSD for Edelbrock. I would near guess that the same principal applies .....

 

you are correct.
ive tested the resistance on all the pills, and it appears that all are around the same values in steps of 1K ohms.
time to start playing.
no sense in doing it on the street, as i doubt ill feel it.
got to get to the track.
