Different strokes for different folks probably. You hog that bitch out too much it might suck worse than the stock manifold.

the one in the picture is opened up some. you can see the 'porting gauge' in the stock one, fast puts that notch there so you know how far you can open them up without breaking through.

Different motors will have different requirements because of head flow, cam size, and a host of other factors. The 90mm LSX out of the box is a good compromise for the "average" motor. To the extent that your motor is different than "average", porting can help.

how are the fast manifolds out of the box as far as port matched?also how is low end power with stock heads/cam low psi S/C?

Thrasher--its the builder's responsibility to check port matching and at least with this manifold you can shape or grind a bit if thing doesnt line up perfect.porting may give a builder the ability to change the rpm range the engine makes it's best power for the type of intended engine use.also they can increase port volume to accomodate increase in displacement.

I just recieved my ported LSX 90 from TEA a few days ago (along with a NW 90 TB)
and it looks niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice (IMO) ...................Not to mention I couldn't pass up the package deal they gave me either.

I get to drool over it for awhile cause the 408 isn't ready to go in the car just yet

So, AFR, TEA, Bo white, Cartek, TTP, Rapid, Precision Porting all said they'll do it. Im sure theres more. I think i can do it myself.
