Everyone with X pipes Ok I am tired of this rattling hooker catback. I was thinking about getting the 3in Summit X pipe. And having an exhaust shop bend the pipes that go over the rear axle. My question is what mufflers to use. was thinking about 18" or 24" bullits I would appreciate info on yall's set up what mufflers did you use? How loud is it? Does it rattle or have bad ground clearance?
i went with moroso spiral flows. i think they sound good. nice and deep. flow real good too. bullets also sound good. i dont think mine is very loud, but its all relative to you. my exhaust is a little low, but its mostly cause of the exhaust shop, im sure they could have done a much better job tucking the pipes up better. do a search for true duals and you will some very nice setups with good clearance.
Best mufflers i've used on a TD setup were 3" Sweet thunders, Flo Pro twisters are a close 2nd. The sweet thunders have the best ground clearance and are priced the same as the others oh yeah they sound Awesome!!! Very little interior drone, no rattles and were suprisingly quiet on the highway...
