Radiator problem

Radiator problem Hello brothers & sisters!
Not sure if this is where I post this, but here goes.
I installed a tranny cooler this evening. When I started unthreading the return line at the top of the radiator, the wrench slipped off the nut and, wouldn't you know, broke off the connection where the TB hose run to the radiator!
I was wondering if anyone has a CHEAP solution to the problem. (besides getting a new radiator) I have done the TB bypass so line now just runs to what I guess is some sort of steam tube for the heads. Do i need this line? My wife is going to KILL ME
if she finds out. Any solution would be appreciated.

I seem to remember that part being plastic. Try threading a nipple into the hole with some epoxy or just try epoxy-ing the old one back on.
If you have the resources, I would grind it clean, thread it, and replace the broken part with a threaded nipple and some epoxy on the threads.

Just FYI, O'reilly sells one of those HELP parts that is a overflow nipple repairer. It also works on the one below the overflow nipple. You have to drill out the hole. It costs about $14. I guess it's cheaper than a new radiator.
