v6 sound too ricy?

If you are even Thinking about an LS1 dont put anything other than gas into the sixer until your ready for the LS1 purchase. Put it for sale.

I'm 16. I CANNOT AFFORD 300 bux++ of insurance.
I need this car so I can fill it up with gas week to week and also have a nice car without rediculous insurance. After about a year or so...i'll sell it or drop in a totally tweaked Ls1 forged and bored.
For now...I want it to go fast and sound good as it is. Trust me, if I could get an Ls1 and AFFORD it right now...i'd do it in a heartbeat.

cam, headers, and cutout thats what i would do. i had flows on mine with a cutout it sounded nice at idle, and everyone knew when i was coming down the street lol. i can send u a clip of me at the track prolly, lemme know ur email

I would like to take out the cats, to free up the exhaust and hopefully make it sound a bit meaner and deeper toned. It has the hooker Muffler, so it wouldn't be free of restrictions, but I was hoping with the hooker muffler, and the straight pipe, it might sound a bit deeper toned then the way it sounds now.
If anyone has done this, please let me know how it sounded to you, and if you have any suggestions on how I can do this without getting a v8

Pacesetter Headers Direct Bolt On?? My first fbody was a v6 and i had a sweet setup, honestly I always got questioned for having a sleeper V8 but it was a V6 with Pacesetter Headers, aftermarket cats, dynomax ultra muffler with some induction done. Fast as a turd, could out run 94-98 Gt's but it's setup was about as close to V8 sound as you would get. Great idle sound, good mid and 8+ top end sound.
