Default Need to quiet down my exhaust

Hey everyone. I'm getting my car back soon (fixed after break-in) and since it's winter, I'm going to work on it some. I realized that my car needs to be quieter. Right now, I have Pacesetter race-style LT's, Pacesetter ORY, and a Corsa catback, and it is ungodly loud. Quite a bit louder than I expected. I love the way my car sounds, but it is louder than my buddy's GMMG, and my car is easily louder than a Harley. It's cool when I get on it, but with my stall, and the cold weather, it's a little loud. I don't particularly want to lose the Corsa, but what can I do? I was thinking of welding my Moroso Spiralflow into the I-pipe, and if that isn't enough, maybe getting a TSP catted Y. Either that or getting an SLP 2OTL catback, and make it more of a sleeper. Opinions please....what should I do? Thanks.

Cats and/or SLP dual dual should tame it down.

Would I lose significant power with either option? I know with cats, I'd lose some power but still keep the Corsa sound for the most part. With the SLP 2OTL, I really wouldn't lose anything, but the sound would not only be quieter, but totally different. However, it is a bit more a sleepy look and definitely different, which is a good thing in my book.

you could send me your Corsa and I will send you my TD's with Flo Pro twisters it is definitly quieter than my previous setup of Pacesetter LT, ORY,and dynomouth. Otherwise you could probably just add cats to the y and be okay sound wise.

You can get some 3" hi-flow cats and just have the m welded into your Y-pipe. That would be your cheapest option, and the best IMO.

i used to have corsa with cats, then no cats. they both sounded good. no cats was pretty loud, but no where near as loud as my true duals now. best sound and tone out of the 3 exhaust systems was corsa with cats by a long shot. get the cats you will be happy

Try an 18" dynomax bullet in the I-pipe. Thats what I did with my car. And I wouldn't go with a single spiral flow, it would probably be a restriction, just do a straight through 18" bullet instead.

I'm seriously considering a TSP catted y-pipe....less banging too. The main reason for considering the Spiralflow is that it's free....I already have one.

If you do the spiralflow, get some hi-temp paint and give it a few coats.
My spiralflows on my duals rusted to hell REALLLY quick.

put a bullet in the I pipe, that would help quite a bit. Ive heard a car with a bullet before the cutout and a car without the bullet through a cutout and there was a big difference in sound.

yea I know what you mean, I'm running LT, Mufflex ORY, GMMG and it's pretty damn loud, I don't know if I want to change the exhaust or add high flow cats, or just ditch the whole thing and go with an X pipe setup with some quiet mufflers. My buddy has LT, ORY, Corsa on his TA and personally it's not that loud, my GMMG is a lot louder then his, but I also have H/C so that probably doesn't help with the loudness. I do miss my duals with spiral flows....
