Bad vibrations???

I am getting bad vibrations along w/a dull rattling noise at high rpms, mostly leaving second gear when ur really gettin on it. Feels like somethings out of balance or something and doesnt show up untill the right rpm range. You can also really feel it in the shifter, feels like it's coming from right under it. Its a very strong feeling. What is this? I dont know what it is didn't know wher to post this cause I'm not sure whats causing it.

How do I check for that? sorry, I have learned alot, but not much in that area.
