Default Pacesetter Headers

I am going to be purchasing a set of long tube coated pacesetter headers and was wondering if I should go with the race long tubes w/o the air hook-ups or go with the regular long tube headers. Whats the benefits of each? With the race ones will my check engine light stay on? Thanks

your enging light will come on as it doesn't have provisions for the air hookups. if you are getting it tuned go with the race headers because they can delete the air control. you can always go back and put caps on the regular version if you ever get rid of the air system. the race version is what a lot of people are using, but just get what ever you get the best deal on. you can always get block off plates.

Go with Race style and have your AIR codes deleted. It will look cleaner and be easier to install. My old Macs had AIR provisisons and they didn't line up so I bought block off plates and had the codes deleted....
