ls6/slp intake,any difference

I got ant slp inatke w/egr provision.I was told that because it has the egr that it won't make as much hp as the ls6.Is this true!

The EGR may hurt it a little bit because its pumping exhaust back into the intake but it should flow just as well as any other LS6 intake

Exhaust doesn't flow into intake at wot, only at partial throttle.
