idle problems

hey guys. i recently changed my throttle body (to bbk) and figured i'd do the egr mod while i was at it. but now when the car is cold, the idle is fine at start up but as soon as i drive and come to a complete stop the idle drops dramatically. any ideas on whats goin on here?

1999 trans am ws6
-granatelli maf
-bbk 80mm throttle body
-whisper lid
-eibach sportlines
-bilstein shocks

Can you adjust the idle on the TB itself like the stock one?

i opened it a little more but it still didnt work

mine did that before I got a proper plug for the EGR hole the intake and that was after the tune.

Before you get a full blow tune. Try the idle adjustment procedure. Do you have Autotap or some other scanning software?

This is a very useful thread. Just noticed you have a Granitelli MAF as well. The larger TB and MAF may be causing problems for the PCM. If that procedure doesn't work out for you, you just might need tuning to fix your idle.
