breather filter question
breather filter question Since putting on my bbk 80mm T/B I have a vacum problem. Bothe the tube from the T/B and the tube coming from the passenger side valve cover that goes to the tube on the T/B have suction(fighting each other) can I cap off the tube on the T/B and put a little breather on the valve cover vent tube.

If you are talking about the fresh air line that goes from the TB to the passenger side valve cover, then yes, you can cap off both ends. You just need to make sure you have a breather of some sort on the valve cover. I just bought the Metco piece, took the black plastic chimney off, and put the breather on in its place. Worked like a charm, and cleaned up the engine bay a little.
Cool thanks. But what about just capping off the T/B part and putting one of those little breathers on the tube going to the valve cover and leave your oil fill cap the way it is. would that work the same?
