exaust manifold swap

exaust manifold swap hi. i was wondering about swaping exaust manifolds on my 98 z. it has the mods in the sig. i was going to swap the intake for a ls6 and remove the egr and have the codes cleared and since i was going to have to remove the egr anyway is it worth to put the 02 manifolds on?

The '02 manifolds will flow slightly better. I would not expect to see much of a gain at your mod level though. I've known one or two people with cammed LS1s using stock manifolds swapping from '98/'99 style to '00 and up and seeing very little gain, so at bolt on level don't expect much change in HP numbers.
