Exhaust Hanger Bolt Size?
Exhaust Hanger Bolt Size? Yah like the title says... what size is the bolt that goes into the chassis for the rear exhaust hanger? And plz don't give me the size of the wrench I need for it... already know that... Thanks!

The threads are more screw type than bolt type. This is straight from the GM parts listing.

Thx... been searching through all the GM parts sites I could find on Google and none of them have it...
Just to follow up I just had to buy 4 of these after I misplaced mine after pulling the catback off for a couple of months. Here is the basic breakdown on what size hex screws you can get at any local hardware store if you don't want to go to the stealership and get them or have to wait for some to come in. Here are the specs...
GM Factory Hex Screw Dimensions: SCREW HEX M8X2.12X30
Standard Hex Screw Dimensions: 5/16x1 and you will need a 1/4 washer as well.
All 4 of these with washers only cost me $1.03 and I didn't have to wait 4 days for factory bolts to come in and they went straight in and hold very tight. Just trying to help out some guys who may come across this in the future.
