1. Will a cat back hurt or help my gas mileage? I travel 80 miles a day most of it at 75 - 80 mph.

2. If it will not hurt, then is there one that helps performance that will not drone at 1500 - 2000 rpm?

Check the dyno results in my signature. None of the mods so far have hurt my gas mileage.

It really depends on what other mods (if any )you have. The Hooker catback is very stock sounding until you get into the throttle a bit...then it gets aggressive sounding. Price is very reasonable as well.

depends on the catback you choose and the mods you have. when i put my borla on it sounded good and i thought i had better mileage. open plate, less restriction, more flow.
as far as drone or rasp as long as you have cats even with a cam it would sound right on just about any setup.
