Bo ported my FAST intake as well, and did a nice job on it.
Those are some good gains.

I'll post up my dyno results to show the gains of going to a FAST 90 and Nick Williams TB from a LS6 and ported stock TB when I get my car retuned in the next month. I'll also have some MS3, 90/90, with 150-175 dry shot numbers to share.

Yes, stock rebuild 4L60E with maybe 500 miles slipping already

Might have to look into a Rock-On 4L60E, I'd hate to got TH400 since its my daily driver

I would love to see a dyno comparison with 90/90 compared to LS6 intake with stock ported tb and compared to the TPIS intake and tb.

Its been my experience that the 90/90 setups need a retune because of a rich condition in the midrange so theres more in it for sure

Thanx again for chosin me to do that for ya since it takes me forever and a day to knock anyhthing out lol. Nick Williams makes the nicest TB Ive ever dealt with- no more work needs to be done to this piece, Im going on record on this

Ok Drew, stop being a puss and get the 350 or 400 trans. Your on a fricken island, you dont need, nor do you use OD hardly ever. Whenever we cruise your always in D! So, stop wasting money on shitty rebuilds, and a shitty 4L60E base and go straight for the heart will ya. You can keep it Vacuum Modulated and forward shift pattern!

For the results, nice gain, and glad to hear NW 90 wont need ANY Work done to it! Now to get me an intake sent to Bo then back to me!

Would you personally recommend the 90/NW90 combo over the TPIS combo for any or all set-ups?

All I know is I gained atleast 15hp going to the FAST
(Bo White ported) 90 intake and NW TB over my LS6 intake and Shaner S2 TB

I'm sure I'll see 11.3-11.4 @ 118 with new tires and better 60fts

15hp is good, but it seems like some set-ups sacrifice a little bit of torque all across the board on their dynos.

Nitrous will make up for that, plus our track sucks so losing torque might be a good thing.

I'm sure the new setup with Bo's porting gained more than 15 hp, I don't believe in dyno's, just track times.

Plus, going by the 10hp per 1 mph, but after getting to past certain speeds I think it takes more hp to gain 1 mph.

Bottom line, I'm happy with my choice and I didn't have to send my stock intake anywhere.

TPIS makes some good stuff, been a fan of them since way back(TPI days ). The 90/90 set up is something I would suggest after building a high end stock cube or any stroker/all bore engine. High end to me means 228-230 or larger cam with P/P heads. I havent had the chance to look at a TPIS LS1 part yet, they are not real popular on this stuff yet like some other companies.
