Default Header Install Tips

Well sometime this month we'll be installing headers and exhaust on my 1999 Camaro Z28. Had a few questions for those that have done this install before:

1.) Which exhaust manifold gaskets would you recommend? (Research shows most reuse or buy new GM gaskets)

2.) Where should I buy 02 extensions from for the front 02 sensors? What length for use with Jet-Hot Headers?

3.) Where are the rear 02 sensors located? What do you do w/ them after you install headers? (I will be taking the car to get the rear 02 sensors tuned out to not throw Check Engine Light)

4.) Where is the best place to cut the stock exhaust if I want to keep it?

1. GM metal gaskets
2. They should come with an extension kit so you can extend them yourself or Speed Inc sells them --->>
3. Right past the collecters, dont worry about the light...just get the rear 02s deleted
4. cut it right at the muffler that way you can reweld it to the over the axle pipe if need be

Everything sounds pretty good above. But I didn't cut my exhaust to remove it. I just dropped the rear down on the pass side and snaked it out of the fender well completely intact.
