Default Bank 1??

Which side is bank 1? My SES light has been on for a while, so I took it to autozone to see waht the code was and the guy said it was an O2 sensor on bank 1. Just wondering which side is bank 1 so I replace the correct one!

Thanks,
Chad

Your car has 4 O2 sensors. Two on Bank 1 and two on Bank 2.

You will need to find out which sensor on Bank 1 is throwing the code. B1S1 (bank 1 sensor 1) would be the pre-cat sensor on the drivers side. B1S2 (bank 1 sensor 2) would be the post-cat sensor on the drivers side.

Before buying anything post the actual code (have it read again if he didn't give it to you) - if he didn't know the difference between B1 and B2, might not know the difference between S1 and S2 either.

If you just buy one off a parts counter it'll probably be close to twice that price, and even more from the dealer. Better deals could probably be found online though.
