Default header installation

how long on average does it take to install headers on a fbody, SLP says 8 hrs, i find that hard to believe, and how difficult is it?

Depends... If youve done it before and have everything out of the way, it is very quick. Getting the air system out takes a while but the rest is just time consuming for bolt here, bolt there..

oh, and the hard part is fitting the drivers side, just make sure your car is high up so you have plenty of access.

and if you ever plan on lowering... DONT buy SLP headers, VERY low ground clearance. Good headers, just not good for lowered cars.

On a lift it took 6 hours to remove complete exhaust, install headers,plugs and a racetronix fuel pump kit. Plus an ORY and Catback. I would have taken alot longer on the ground.

If you have never done it before, I'd say 10-12 hrs. (thats including y pipe, removing emissions)
