I have read some poeple saying that they were not happy with their SLP flow pac lids. i have also read people talk about messing with the baffles. i am worried about rain. if not slp the what is good.

You mean removing the baffles in a WS6 hood? Many people do that without any rain issues. Removing or not removing the baffles has no bearing on whether or not you should get a lid though, nor does it effect which lid you should get.

As for the flow pac I'd say just get a basic lid and be done with it.

agreed. any lid should suit you fine.

i wouldnt worry to much bout removing baffles since your hood is not of the "ram-air" variants.
