Technially, it ia violation of FEDERAL law to change the loaction of any emission equipment (non-factory cats on LTs etc) let alone remove them. You are not even supposed to replace them on a vehicle with less than 50k, unless they are defective. It's some dumb **** laws, since most people can pass state sniffers without cats and decent tuning

I have heard that also that, running non-cats is very illegal. But with no emissions down here in Florida i seriously doubt they are going to run around looking for cars without cats. I have gutted cats anyways that i got with the exhaust system, which is another option you can run incase your worried of getting screwed over by inspectors.
