its about 1" longer than the stocker and no built in washer so you can pull right over it.

I hope you impact guys are double checking them with a breaker bar. If not, we may have another rash of pulleys "falling" off.

The top half of the floorjack handle slipped over a ratchet makes a good breaker bar. That's what I use. Then a 3 arm puller. I've broken 3 "cheapys" (pepboys, and aid auto). The one from autozone did the job. It also takes the right configuration of the arms to lock in just right.

Is the crank keyed like a first gen SBC or is it just a press fit where you have to pay attention to how the pulley was lined up and re install it exactly the same way, like an LT1?

Another thing, when I got my car it already had a crank underdrive pulley that Thunder installed (have the recipt). The previous owner said it was a ATI but in the recipts I have it says ASP. My pulley doesnt look like either one, the center section is natural alluminum color with the dampener elastic material sandwitched between the actual pulley and the alluminum center. Anyone know if maybe this is an older ASP balancer or something else? The recipt I have is dated march 2002.
