Ls6 intake.... I want to get an Ls6 intake manifold for my 99 SS Camaro and was wondering if the ls6 intake manifold is different for the ls1 or can I buy any ls6 manifold and it will fit on my ls1. And also where is the cheapest place to buy one? Thanks for the help!

Well Yes The LS6 Intake Is Different Than The LS1. If You Have Pulled Off The LS1 Intake-Notice That The Bottom Of It Has A Curve To It, Where As The LS6 Intake Is Absolutely Flat. The LS6 Intake Will Fit On Your LS1, You'll Probably Need To Buy The Coolant Line Kit That Goes With It. To Buy-You Can Prob Find A Reasonable Price From One Of The Vendors Or Try To But One Used. But If Your Like Me-I Like To Buy New. Hope This Helps.
