Bullet muffler power loss?
If you had a Cam only car with a decently free-flowing exhaust (Hooker).
How much rwhp would you lose by putting a bullet muffler in the I-pipe to quiet everything down?
what do you guys think?? Trending Topics
His setup is a bullet in the I ( off of my old TSP TD setup ), then a Dynomax turbo muffler. He lost no HP on the dyno with the cutout closed, and gained 5 lb/ft of torque.
It sounded AWFUL before the bullet in the I, but welding it in cleaned up the sound nicely.

hhhmmm, very good information.
Maybe when I put the Cam in the car, I can be a bit stealthy. My Hooker exhaust is already a little quiet, even with the Longtubes. I have almost no rasp now, but I'm thinking the bullet muffler will get rid of the last little bit, and maybe hide the lope a bit.
thanks for the input
