A glasspack is a very cheap(like $20) straight through muffler with the smallest baffles ever. It's most tipically seen on older trucks. If you ever see an 73-87 chevy truck with duals coming out the back and its loud. Its almost a sure thing that is has duals with glassbacks on it. They are very loud and cackle like crazy. They are pretty much just an excuse for a muffler for when u get pulled over for defective exhaust.

Cherry bomb exhaust is probably the most popular glasspack.

they are loud, but nothing like LT headers, ORY, and open cut-out loud A few of my friends have them on their trucks and i dont think they are that bad. Ive heard alot of f-bodies that were louder.
