can u weld in cats into a hooker/flowtech orp? just found out i need cats in my orp..gah...damn pittsburgh emisions.
i have flowtech headers and orp, is it possible to weld in cartech or random tech cats into the orp and will it fit proper?

yes, but in the past when i've done this i found it best to slip fit the cat over the header collector, then have the y pipe cut accordingly. it should fit fine, clearance sometimes is an issue but to pass emissions for now it should suffice and someone should be able to tuck it up decently.
if the y pipe is tack welded to the headers or anything like that, just cut the sections out of the y pipe on both sides, it should fit without much hassle.
