QTP headers are a work of art!

I have old mild steel Hooker headers, and will never buy anything less than stainless again. I drive my car every day, and I plan to hold onto it for a while, stainless is the only option IMO. Everything else will eventually rust and flake.

I believe you have that backwards, slip fits leak, welded collectors do not

Holy crap!
I'm sad I bought mine too early.

You're right! The velocity spike on the old qtp's is much cleaner and nicer than the pictures of the new qtp's spike.
Here's a pic of some old qtp's with the regular collector.

I doubt it would affect hp though.

Have there been any reports of the welded collector on the QTP header leaking? I don't recall any being posted. Is this really an issue?
I've read this board QUITE a few times, and never heard of welds leaking. But i have a buddy who's Cobra Mustang's slip fit is leaking a few blocks a way.
PS - where my headers meet my true duals is a slip fit, and that bitch is leaking too..... on both sides.
